If this aligns with your goals, it could be a great fit.Responsibilities:Lead all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and outbound shipping, with strict adherence to hazardous materials handling requirements.Ensure full regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate hazmat documentation and inventory records in line with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other applicable standards.Develop, update, and enforce safety policies and procedures specific to hazardous materials storage and handling.Conduct routine safety audits and facility inspections to identify risks, correct deficiencies, and ensure ongoing compliance.Oversee and deliver training for warehouse personnel on hazardous materials protocols, emergency response procedures, and regulatory requirements.Coordinate closely with transportation and logistics teams to ensure safe, compliant movement of hazardous goods across all shipments.Act as primary response lead for hazmat incidents, directing containment efforts and executing emergency mitigation procedures when required.Collaborate with regulatory agencies during inspections and ensure timely resolution and reporting of any compliance findings.Continuously evaluate and optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve operational efficiency while maintaining strict safety standards.Monitor warehouse financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, and forecasting to support operational planning.Prepare and present detailed reports on safety metrics, compliance status, and operational performance for senior leadership review.Required Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience managing warehouse operations (required), including at least 1 year of direct experience handling hazardous materials (preferred).Working knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and safety standards, including OSHA, DOT, and EPA requirements.Certification in hazardous materials handling and safety (such as OSHA HAZWOPER or DOT Hazmat) is preferred.Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of supervising, training, and developing warehouse teams.Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasting expenses, and controlling operational costs.Authorized to work in the United StatesBenefits:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceCompetitive salary and benefit packageSalary: $85K-$90K
