The firm offers a stable client base, strong leadership, and a hybrid work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAudit (Nonprofit Focus)Perform audit procedures for nonprofit organizationsAssist with planning and execution of audit engagementsPrepare audit workpapers and supporting documentationCommunicate with clients regarding financial reporting and audit findingsEnsure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standardsClient Accounting / BookkeepingPerform bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance for nonprofit clientsPrepare financial statements and supporting schedulesAssist with month-end and year-end close processesReconcile bank and balance sheet accountsSupport clients with financial reporting and accounting questionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field1–5+ years of experience in public accountingDirect experience auditing nonprofit organizations (required)Experience with client accounting/bookkeeping in a public accounting settingProficiency in QuickBooks OnlineExperience with UltraTax is a plus (this is not a tax-focused role)CPA or CPA track preferred but not requiredCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $75,000 – $100,000 , depending on experienceMedical benefitsPaid vacationHybrid work environmentWhy Join This Firm?Established and reputable small firmStrong nonprofit client baseStable leadership and collaborative cultureHybrid flexibilityOpportunity to grow into senior-level responsibilitiesPowered by JazzHR
