Systems Test Engineer

What you will be doing:Own system-level testing of new and legacy embedded control systems in labs, test cells, and field trial sites.Define and execute integration and verification test plans for embedded systems.Work cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, software, manufacturing, and field trial teams.Capture system requirements, write test specifications, and develop system-level test cases.Participate in DFMEAs, risk identification reviews, and project planning activities.Support root cause analysis and trade-off decisions between hardware and software/firmware testing.What you'll need to be successful:Essential:Bachelor's Degree.5+ years of systems engineering experience with embedded products.5+ years of experience integrating and testing complex embedded control systems.3+ years of experience using structured root cause analysis methods.Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.Experience supporting systems engineering in cross-functional environments.Familiarity with root cause methodologies such as 5 Whys or 7-Step problem solving.Experience with RS-485 and CAN communication protocols.Experience troubleshooting embedded control systems.DFMEA participation experience.Experience using JIRA and Confluence.Familiarity with C, C++, and Linux development environments.
