Technical Specialist

Job Description Overview:ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to) : · Proficient in troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulic, 24VDC control circuits and mechanical fixtures. · Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of complex automated equipment including mechanical, pneumatic and electrical control circuits. · Fully understand and troubleshoot motor control circuits, 24VDC up to 480VDC three phase power distribution and motors. · Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) – Mitsubishi/Omron/Allen Bradley · Proficient in troubleshooting, maintaining and/or programming robotic systems desirable. · Proficient in programming and maintaining industrial vision systems. · Program and troubleshoot HMIs · Lead technical aspects of capital project for innovation/automation solutions · Act as a role model for all Associates and adhere to the company core values· Demonstrate and serve as a role model for Respect for the Individual by promoting harmony and consensus; co-operates and works with others in the pursuit of team goals and maintains high ethical standards both personally and professionally · Demonstrate and serve as a role model for Building Trust by being reliable and consistent. Encourages development. · Other Duties as Assigned by leadership Skills and Experience:MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS)Required · Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Engineering related field or · 2 Year Technical School in Engineering related field or 5+ years experience with industrial automation equipment · Engineering/maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities · Experience with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs and HMIs preferred · Experience with maintaining or programming robotics (Yaskawa, Fanuc, Motoman preferred) · Excellent communication, both verbal and written, as well as organizational skills · Ability to interact professionally within the company and with the customer · Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office programs · Experience in repair and analysis of mechanical and electronic systems · Experience with industrial vision system applications (Cognex and Keyence a plus) · Hands on maintenance and troubleshooting experience with knowledge of all aspects of machine troubleshooting, process and machine improvements and installation of new equipment Physical Demands:· Occasionally required to lift up to 40 lbs. · Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the facilityBenefits:Don't miss this chance to enhance your experience in a production environment while enjoying competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.Weekly pay$5 prescription drugs$5 doctor's visit copaysFree teledoctor serviceFree counseling servicesLife insurance includedVision insurance includedDental insurance includedVacation and holiday payScholarship Opportunities401(k) retirement planFree legal servicesOur unbeatable employee discount programApply now so we can hold a spot for you.
