American Traveler is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with at least one year of acute hospital experience for a day shift role in a fast-paced hospital environment.Job Details• Work in an acute care hospital setting as part of a large multidisciplinary team,• Patient caseload includes orthopedics, neurological, behavioral health, and critical care cases,• Shift is Monday through Friday during the day (typically starting between 6:30 and 7:00 am and ending between 3:00 and 3:30 pm),• Direct treatment includes morning ADLs, one-on-one therapy, and group facilitation,• Productivity standards are set at 65% to 75% daily with 21-24 billable units per day,• Clinical documentation is completed in a hospital-based EMR system,Job Requirements• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program,• Current Maryland COTA license or eligibility; license required if applicable,• Minimum of one year acute care hospital experience required,• Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association,• Experience running OT groups is preferred,• Strong documentation skills in a hospital EMR system are required,• Excellent flexibility, time management, and communication skills are essential,Additional Information• Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, conducting patient/family/staff education, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation,• Work collaboratively within a supportive and energetic multidisciplinary team,• Team culture values lifelong learning, collegiality, and a patient-centered approach,• Commitment to providing the highest level of customer service to patients,• No stated COVID-19 vaccination requirement,
