This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting learning programs that strengthen employee capability, career growth, and leadership effectiveness across the organization.The Senior L&D Specialist will focus heavily on career development frameworks, career pathing and mapping, leadership development, competency models, and scalable learning solutions that support both individual growth and organizational needs. This role requires strong collaboration, instructional design capability, and the ability to translate business goals into practical development programs and learning experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, maintain, and improve career development frameworks, including career paths, role progression models, and competency-based career mapsPartner with HR, department leaders, and subject matter experts to define skills, behaviors, and expectations by role and levelSupport the development of career ladders, individual development planning tools, and employee growth resourcesHelp employees and managers understand career pathways and development opportunities within the organizationDevelop and coordinate leadership development programs for emerging leaders, new managers, and experienced people leadersSupport manager training in areas such as coaching, performance management, feedback, communication, employee engagement, and change leadershipCreate practical tools, guides, workshops, and learning experiences that help leaders apply concepts in day-to-day workBuild blended learning solutions, including workshops, e-learning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, toolkits, and self-guided resourcesFacilitate engaging training sessions for employees, managers, and leaders across multiple formatsManage learning program logistics, communications, participation tracking, and evaluation activitiesMeasure program effectiveness using participant feedback, assessments, participation data, and business impact indicatorsCollaborate cross-functionally to support organizational development initiatives and workforce capability buildingRequired to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assignedRequirements And QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered3–5+ years of experience in learning and development, talent development, organizational development, or HR development rolesDirect experience designing or supporting career development frameworks, career pathing, career mapping, competency models, or job leveling structuresExperience developing leadership development or manager training programsStrong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, facilitation techniques, and talent development practicesAbility to partner with leaders and translate business needs into practical learning and development solutionsStrong communication, facilitation, writing, project management, and stakeholder management skillsExperience creating training materials, development guides, career tools, and learning resourcesPerksHealth, dental, and vision plansAmazing work-life balance with 4 weeks of Paid Time Off10 Paid Company Holidays with 2 floating holidays401K Programs with employer matchPersonal assistance programs for support in a healthy personal and work lifeWhy Veracity?Here At Veracity, You’ll Be Part Of a Team Of Trailblazers And Visionaries.
