ensures equity of access - service - and benefits to this population - ensures the care provided is of the highest qualityThe senior social worker provides leadership - direction - orientation - coaching - in-service training - staff development - and continuing education programs for assigned social work staffThey serve on committees - work groups - and task forces at the facility - VISN and national level - consultation-based services to Veterans - primary care providers - and allied Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) membersThe focus is on general service delivery for a wide range of concerns and resolving problems within the primary care service contextBehavioral health visits are brief (generally 20-30 minutes) - limited in number (1-6 visits) - and are provided in the primary care serviceThe PCMHI Senior Social Worker may be involved in program evaluation - teaching - training - and research activitiesThe incumbent understands and applies professional psychological treatments to the full range of patient populationsprovides professional advice and consultation in areas related to professional psychology and behavioral healthand maintains knowledge of clinical research literatureThe incumbent does not administratively supervise staff or write performance appraisalsThe incumbent may provide supervision of traineesDuties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: Performs evaluations for patient conditions such as depression -
