Job Description CAD System Operator – Direct Hire Opportunity (Northern Kentucky)$70,000-80,000 per year starting salary, depending on experience7am-4pm Monday-FridayOur client in Northern Kentucky is seeking a detail-oriented CAD System Operator to join their team in a direct hire role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with production teams, creating accurate technical drawings, and supporting manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.Position SummaryThe CAD System Operator is responsible for creating accurate and precise drawings used in the manufacturing of precast concrete products. Working closely with the Plant Manager and production team, this role helps ensure designs are functional, manufacturable, and compliant with industry standards and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareProduce technical plans, schematics, and models for customers, production, and installation teamsDevelop foundation model drawings using precast concrete productsPerform quality checks to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with specificationsCoordinate with the Plant Manager to confirm layouts and production requirementsMaintain organized electronic files and project documentationTroubleshoot design and software-related issues as neededStay current on industry standards and design practicesCommunicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and vendorsSupport team operations and assist with additional tasks when neededQualificationsProficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesFlexibility with work hours when necessaryExperience in manufacturing, construction, precast concrete, or related industries is a plusWhat Our Client OffersDirect hire opportunityStable and growing companyTeam-oriented work environmentOpportunity for long-term career growthHands-on role supporting real-world manufacturing projectsApply today to learn more about this opportunity!
