OVERVIEWPosition: Facility & Procurement ManagementCompany: VinDynamicsDivision - Department: Human Resources and Admin Department, Back Office DivisionReport to: Director of Back OfficeLocation: Reno, Nevada, USAJob summary:The Facility & Procurement Management role is responsible for establishing and operating VinDynamics’ facility management and procurement functions in the United States during the company’s initial setup and expansion phase. This role will lead the setup of office and technical facilities, develop and manage the vendor ecosystem, and implement procurement processes to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable operations. The position will also directly execute procurement activities for both operational and engineering needs, playing a critical role in enabling VinDynamics’ R&D and business activities in the U.S.III. REQUIREMENTSRelevant education and experienceBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 5–8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or facility managementProven experience working in organizations with structured procurement and operational processesHands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for procurement and vendor managementExperience in setting up offices, laboratories, or technical facilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience in technology, R&D, manufacturing, or engineering-driven environmentsUnderstanding of U.S. facility operations, workplace safety, and regulatory complianceExperience managing both operational procurement and technical/engineering sourcingExperience working in startup or fast-scaling environmentsFamiliarity with cross-border operations and global procurement practicesPersonality / AttitudeStrong ownership mindset with the ability to build operations from the ground upHands-on, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentStrong vendor management, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teamsStrong attention to detail and execution excellenceIV. JOB DESCRIPTIONLead the setup and operation of office and technical facilities in the U.S., including workspace planning, lab setup, and infrastructure readinessEstablish and manage the vendor ecosystem, including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and performance managementDevelop and implement procurement policies, processes, and workflows in compliance with company standards and U.S. regulationsExecute end-to-end procurement activities, including PR/PO processing, vendor coordination, purchasing, and delivery tracking using SAP or equivalent systemsManage procurement across both:Office operations (facilities, services, supplies)Technical and engineering needs (equipment, tools, lab components)Oversee facility operations, including maintenance, workplace services, safety, and securityMonitor and control procurement and facility budgets, ensuring cost efficiency, transparency, and accountabilityEnsure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and internal policiesCollaborate with global teams (Vietnam and other regions) to align procurement standards and operational practicesSupport office expansion, upgrades, and renovation projects as the company scalesV.
