Java AWS Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Java AWS Architect to design and lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications for a financial services client. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java-based microservices architecture, AWS cloud solutions, and financial domain systems.Key Responsibilities:Design and architect cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS servicesDefine microservices architecture, API strategies, and integration patternsLead migration of legacy systems to AWS cloud (re-architecture/re-platforming)Ensure security, compliance, and data protection aligned with financial regulationsCollaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teamsDrive DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code - Terraform/CloudFormation)Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and best practices guidanceRequired Skills:10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE technologiesStrong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway)Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIsExperience with Kafka or other messaging systemsStrong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimizationExperience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Nice to Have:Experience in banking/financial systems (payments, lending, trading, etc.)Knowledge of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, encryption)Exposure to data streaming and event-driven architectures
