Technology Support Engineer
Job SummaryThis role is responsible for providing reliable, high-quality IT support and infrastructure services for employees and global visitors. You’ll collaborate across technical and operational teams to maintain secure, stable, and efficient end-user computing and network services in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver on-site and remote IT support for employees and visiting personnel, ensuring smooth daily operations.Manage immediate tasks and longer-term projects while coordinating closely with team members to balance priorities.Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot all aspects of IT services, including file, print, storage, backup, network, voice, video, and mobile computing.Work with cross-platform technical teams to identify gaps, develop remediation plans, and coordinate technical and service delivery support activities.Provide technical support for diagnosing and restoring IT services and collaborate with engineering and service management teams to maintain security policies.Lead or support engineering efforts that directly improve end-user computing, including endpoint imaging, encryption, mobile data management, and local data management.Follow established change management and service management procedures.Adhere to standards for tools and technologies across on-premises and cloud environments to deliver consistent infrastructure and end-user services.Identify and implement opportunities to improve service performance, stability, and cost-efficiency.Ensure new services and technologies meet operational standards and follow ITIL methodologies.Support global infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures.Contribute to continuous improvement of IT services, technologies, and processes to support end users.Respond to and resolve critical operational incidents and provide ongoing support for incident management when required.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience.1+ years in a 24/7 high-availability environment (e.g., application hosting, voice and data networks, security management).Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams to meet operational priorities.Experience providing on-site and remote IT support for infrastructure and end-user services.Understanding of ITIL frameworks, governance policies, and related processes.Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with diverse teams and business functions.Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.Ability to work effectively in a global, virtual team across multiple time zones.BlueSky Resource Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
