One floor will be dedicated to labor and delivery, and will include nine labor, delivery, and recovery beds, 10 postpartum beds, two C-section operating rooms, and future space for a level two Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Organizational and multi-tasking skillsKnowledge of nursing care methods and proceduresAbility to work as a Team player within a unitEffective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skillsEKG (based on patient ; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements)Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)Basic computer skills - must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programsMust be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomesEducation:* Associate's of Nursing [Required]* Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]Work Experience:* Labor & Delivery Experience Highly PreferredLicenses and Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS [Required]Neonatal Resuscitation Program - NRP [Required]Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements)Physical Requirements - https://tinyurl.com/49cf4xnfPay Range:$31.53 - $52.24This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
