AI Python MCP Software Engineer

Job title: AI Python MCP Software Engineer Work Location: remote Experience: 5-6 years Education Qualification: B.A. Roles and Responsibilities Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Security to define the end-to-end solution for MCP-based exposure of APIs Design, build, test, and deploy MCP servers and supporting services in Python (and other languages as needed) Integrate LLMs, AI agents, and tool orchestration frameworks with internal communications capabilities Implement strong security, authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and auditability patterns for AI-driven execution Establish robust testing strategies: unit, contract, integration, load, and chaos tests Required Skills & Desired Skills: Excellent software engineering skills in Python Experience designing, building, and operating cloud services on AWS Strong understanding of AI concepts: LLMs, prompt orchestration, tool calling, retrieval augmentation, agent frameworks Working knowledge of (or strong interest in) MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and emerging AI interoperability standards Deep focus on software security: threat modeling, least privilege, secrets management, secure API design, supply chain considerations A test-first mindset: unit, integration, contract, and automation testing at scale Ability to learn and apply multiple languages or stacks pragmatically (e.g., TypeScript, Go, Java) J-18808-Ljbffr
