Sellers upload items during the week using short videos. You take the stage on the weekend and turn that inventory into sold items through live shopping. Think QVC meets Facebook Marketplace meets TikTok Live—but built for the next generation of resale. The Role We’re hiring a Live Shopping Host to run our weekly Firesale Live—a 60–90 minute live show where you sell real inventory from real people, in real time. You are the face, voice, and energy of Firesale during our biggest sales moments. You will: Host 1+ hour live selling sessions weekly Sell items uploaded by Firesale sellers throughout the week Create excitement, urgency, and FOMO Talk confidently about anything: furniture, electronics, clothes, collectibles, weird stuff—whatever shows up Interact with the live audience (comments, questions, bids, buys) Move fast, stay sharp, and close sales If you’ve ever thought “I could crush QVC / Whatnot / TikTok Live” — this is your role. What You’ll Be Doing: Hosting live resale shows (camera on, mic hot) Pitching items clearly, confidently, and fast Answering buyer questions live Driving urgency (“this will sell,” “last one,” “price drop,” etc.) Keeping the energy high for long sessions Helping turn unsold inventory into instant liquidity You’re a Great Fit If You: Have sold items online before (Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Whatnot, etc.) Are very comfortable on camera Have experience with: Instagram Live TikTok Live YouTube Live Twitch or live streaming in general Can confidently host for 60+ minutes Love talking about products and convincing people to buy Can sell anything (seriously) Have a strong, engaging personality Thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments Bonus points if you: Have hosted live sales or auctions before Have a background in retail, sales, or on-air hosting Understand how urgency and scarcity drive buying Already follow live shopping trends What This Is Like: You are the QVC host for the internet resale era You’re selling dozens (eventually hundreds) of items per show Every show gets better, bigger, and faster Massive upside as Firesale scales Compensation: Competitive day rate Performance-based bonuses Opportunity to grow into: Lead Host Full-time role Brand ambassador / on-camera talent How to Apply: Send: A short note on why you’d crush this role Any live video, social, or selling examples (links welcome) Platforms you’ve sold on before If you love selling, love being live, and want to be part of the future of resale — this job was made for you.
