Contract Pre-ETS Instructor (Independent Contractor)Location: Davis County, Utah (In-Person Instruction) Company: Bloom ConsultingPosition OverviewBloom Consulting is seeking an independent contractor to provide Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) to students during the school day in Davis County, Utah.This contract role includes in-person instruction at local schools or community sites, along with remote responsibilities for planning and documentation. The schedule is part-time with flexible hours, making it ideal for a retired professional or someone seeking project-based, flexible work.Services are delivered under the direction of the Coordinator of Pre-ETS as part of a state-funded Vocational Rehabilitation contract, supporting students ages 14–22 with disabilities in developing workplace readiness skills.This is a 1099 independent contractor role with Bloom Consulting and is not employment with a school district or Davis County.Scope of WorkProvide Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) instruction to students ages 14–22 with disabilitiesDeliver individual and small group instruction in school and/or community settingsPlan and organize instructional activities independentlyComplete required state documentation in a timely mannerMaintain and update student records (electronic and paper-based)Participate in meetings and support curriculum planning as neededEngage with students in a professional and educational mannerUtilize cloud-based tools and technology to manage services and reportingWork StructureIn-person service delivery during school hours in Davis CountyRemote work for planning, documentation, and communicationFlexible, contract-based schedule with limited hoursContractor is responsible for managing their own schedule and workload within program requirementsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degreeAt least one year of experience: Teaching in public or private schools and/or Providing instruction to individuals with disabilitiesAbility to work independently and manage a variable workloadAccess to a reliable laptop and internet connectionPreferred QualificationsExperience in education, counseling, social work, or a related fieldExperience working with transition-age youth (14–22)Familiarity with Vocational Rehabilitation or workforce readiness programsIdeal ContractorSelf-motivated, organized, and reliableComfortable working independently with minimal supervisionPassionate about helping students with disabilities prepare for employmentSeeking flexible, meaningful contract work
