Event Tech Equipment Manager (Inventory Mgr)

Manage the NABS Creative Event Tech Process from Start to Finish. Overall responsibility for the process in our Inventory Location to Organize, Maintain, Send Out and Return a variety of AV and Event Equipment. Management, Upkeep, Sourcing, Allocation, Picking, Storing of Audio, Video, Production, Rigging, Cables, Tools and all stored equipment keeping it ready Event use or Rental purpose. IN HOUSE / ON SITE - SALT LAKE BASED ROLE DUTIES Manage & Keep Warehouse Manage All Warehouse Tasks and schedules Employ agreed warehouse processes and develop as needed Source & Allocate Equipment for Events Manage the Picking & Issuing Process in coordination with Project Leads Manage Packing / Load / Unload in coordination with Project Leads All Inventory Procurement – from Request to Inventory on shelf Co-ordinate Repair Process Produce Warehouse Schedule (Management, Repair, Pick, Pack, Load, Unload, Put Away) RESPONSIBILITIES Inventory Correct at all times – In the System & On the Shelf Stored Inventory Ready for Rent / Use all the time Ensure Inventory is available for all upcoming Events Per Pick list Manage Subrentals and Procurement to budget Warehouse & Inventory locations “Customer Visit Ready” at all times Detailed Serialized / Expensive Item Tracking at all times Provide useful inventory information to Project Leads to plan and deliver projects. Ensure warehouse staffed at all times during open hours and as needed for Events. SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES Able to turn a fluid event schedule into a requirements matrix for themselves, crew, equipment and Inventory. Organized, Neat and efficient under pressure and time constraints. Significant high level understanding of Events and AV Equipment sets. Ability to see beyond the summary to understand and communicate details. Crew Leader – Must be able to take a forecast variable workload and engage and run a crew to get it completed. Detailed oriented completer. 100% Ready on time is what our clients pay for.
