The RN or LPN in a medical office serves primarily as a phone nurse within a medical office, responsible for caring for and treating patients under the provider's direction. Key duties include preparing patients for examinations, administering medications and injections, assisting in minor surgeries, and triaging incoming calls for nurse assessments.
