Physical/Dimensional Lead Calibration Technician (Tescom)

Tescom/Accredited Labs is seeking an experienced Physical/Dimensional Lead Calibration Technician for our Austin operation. This is a senior-level hands-on position for someone that can operate independently, lead by example, and help drive quality, throughput, and technical capability within the lab.We are not looking for trainee-level candidates. The ideal candidate will have strong calibration experience and be capable of stepping directly into a working lead role with minimal ramp-up time. If you have strong calibration experience and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing organization, we'd like to speak with you.Location: Austin/Cedar Park, TXEmployment Type: Full-TimeResponsibilities:Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and minor repair of Physical/Dimensional test equipmentLead day-to-day workflow and technical direction within the Phys-D departmentSupport and mentor junior techniciansReview calibration data and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 requirementsAssist with procedure development, process improvement, and quality initiativesHelp maintain turnaround times and department productivity goalsCommunicate professionally with customers and internal teams regarding technical issues and scope questionsPreferred Experience:Strong background in Physical/Dimensional calibrationExperience with equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, torque tools, scales/balances, force gauges, pressure equipment, temperature/humidity instrumentation, and related standardsWorking knowledge of uncertainty, TUR, and accredited calibration requirementsExperience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited environment preferredAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPrior leadership or lead technician experience strongly preferredWhat We're Looking For:Dependable and organizedStrong technical troubleshooting abilitySomeone that can help stabilize and grow the departmentTeam-oriented mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize workload and maintain quality under pressureAbout Us:Accredited Labs is a trusted provider of accredited calibration services.
