This pivotal position involves ensuring that all policies, procedures, and controls align with state and federal requirements, as well as managing compliance risk in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Applicants for the Assistant Vice President of Compliance role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in law, business, finance, or a related field, with 3-5 years' experience in compliance, risk, or audit. A strong knowledge of life and health insurance products and their regulatory requirements is essential. The role demands a professional with strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance systems is also required.
