Commercial Electrical Project Manager

Job Description :Responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical aspects of projects to profitable completionCall on General Contractors for new projectsGenerate sales from General ContractorsDevelop relationship with clientsGain repeat client businessUse Accubid to estimate and generate new proposals on commercial construction projectsCollaborate with Bates estimating staff to generate new proposals on commercial construction projectsSchedule manpower including subcontractors for proper and timely installation of respective scopeAssure quality workmanshipClose projects out in good orderProject ManagementFamiliarize self with construction schedule, and ensure the end date is clear to the job superEnsure Bates is on schedule to meet the GC milestones and end dateVisit jobsites to ensure all staff, materials, and equipment are in-line with current needsTrain Job Supers to Bates standardsAssist Job Supers in estimating labor hours remaining to complete projectsHelp Job Supers bring jobs in within budgetCoordinate and handle General Contractor's needsMonitor work in-place as project progressesEvaluate and prepare Change Orders as requiredCoordinate with Purchasing department on job setup and submittalsProposed compensation package:Position is a salary positionReview following 90 day introductory period.Company vehicle or allowanceFuel card to purchase company fuel.Health insurance will be made available for you effective 61st day of employment401K program with matching contributionsPaid vacation and holidaysBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance Company DescriptionVeteran-owned and operated for more than 40 years.
