Experienced Server

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your ability to deliver outstanding hospitality, coupled with your knowledge of food and beverage offerings, will ensure that each guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options, including daily specials. Take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service. Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling purposes. Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction. Familiarity with restaurant management software such as OpenTable is a plus.
