Specialty: Emergency Medicine Looking for ABEM trained only Coverage Needs: Need ASAP - Ongoing Must be able to cover 5+ shifts per month Shifts: Monday: 7a-4p, 1p-9p, & 9p-7a. Sunday & Tues-Thursday: 7a-3p, 2p-10p, & 9p-7a. Friday - Sunday : 7a-7p & 7p-7a Setting: Community acute-care hospital Level 3 Trauma center Census: 15 ED beds + 2 fast track 24k annual volume Average 65 patients per day 18.3% EMS 10% admitted patients Support Staff: NPPA coverage Mon-Tues: 10a-10p. Wed-Sun: 10a-9p Backup specialties: Ortho, GI, Telenephrology, Teleneuro, & Telepsych ICU available with 24-hour trauma coverage Procedures: All Standard ER procedures EMR: EPIC Board Certification: Board Certified Required Travel: Hospital will cover Credentialing timeline: 60-90 days Requirements: Active TX state license Active DEA and CDS in TX or willing to transfer ATLS, ACLS
