MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team in Ft Detrick, MD. This position is on-site three days per week but expanded telework options are available for exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis.We are seeking a motivated, mission-oriented Software Developer to work with our MEDLOG IT PMO customer at Ft. Detrick in Frederick, MD. This detail-oriented individual will be an imperative part of the LogiCole Software Engineering team and is obsessed with accuracy, and able to accept critical feedback because they are always looking to learn, grow, and produce the highest quality outcome.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToParticipate in agile team, backlog grooming, story sizing sessions.Develop code in accordance with cybersecurity standards, design standards, 508 standards and style guides; any deviations from the standards require prior approval.Document designs, unit tests and code reviews.Participate in product evaluations.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution. If the candidate does not have the required degree, 6 years’ experience in a related field in addition to one of the following current certifications are required: Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, GSEC, FITSP-O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, or CCSPAdditional 1 year of experience with Full Stack Development, implementing and consuming RESTful APIsAt least 1 year experience working on an Agile team and following Agile processes SCRUM and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)Solid Java 11+ skills and experience with EAP’s (JBoss/Wildfly) and/or SpringBootExperience in building front-end application using Angular and JavaScriptExperience using relational and/or NoSQL database systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience with enterprise-level application developmentKnowledge of design patterns applicable to Java EE solutionsKnowledge of design patterns common to Angular/JavaScript solutionsExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.Experience or certifications with cloud hosting solutions, particularly AWSUnderstands Bash or PowerShell; Python 3+ experienceMicroservice architecture / development experienceClearance RequirementsMust be a U.S. Citizen and willing and able to obtain a Public Trust suitability and undergo a Tier 2 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility onlyPhysical RequirementsThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
