Banquet Supervisor - Full Time The Banquet Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring the seamless setup, execution, and breakdown of all banquet and private events. This position supports the food and beverage team in delivering exceptional service while maintaining the standards and values of the Atlanta Athletic Club. The Supervisor may also serve as an opening or closing leader for events. Primary Responsibilities Uphold and promote the purpose and core values of the Atlanta Athletic Club Oversee the organization and maintenance of uniforms and banquet service supplies Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of private and member events Manage food and beverage service during events, meetings, and banquets to ensure a high-quality experience Ensure all opening, operational, and closing procedures are followed consistently Equip team members with the tools, training, and support needed to deliver outstanding member and guest experience Conduct routine inspections of event spaces, ensuring all areas meet or exceed club standards Monitor team members for proper grooming and uniform compliance Enforce adherence to all club policies and procedures Perform additional duties as assigned by manager Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to foster positive working relationships with colleagues, members, and guests Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to fulfill assigned roles in such situations Physically capable of working in hot, humid, and noisy environments and lifting up to 50 pounds Ability to safely lift and maneuver trays of food and beverages Frequent bending, lifting, walking, and standing for long periods of time Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event needs Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of experience in banquet or dining operations High school diploma or equivalent required, 2 years of college desired Must be eligible to obtain a pouring permit from the City of Johns Creek Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) is committed to providing a comprehensive benefit program for your physical and financial wellness, creating value in your most important investment - you!
