Dining Server

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated server to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced casual dining environment. Your primary goal will be to ensure that each guest has a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences. Accurately input orders into the Toast POS system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments through the cash register. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Uphold high standards of guest relations by providing friendly, attentive service at all times. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe dining environment. Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting are crucial for success in this role.
