This is a PRN, home-based role based in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include providing therapy sessions, and collaborating with families and educational teams. The Occupational Therapist will focus on improving students' motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities in a supportive home-based setting consistent with individualized education plans (IEPs).QualificationsProficiency in Occupational Therapy practices, including assessment, intervention, and evaluationUnderstanding of rehabilitation techniques and applications relevant to developmental and pediatric needsStrong knowledge of pediatric therapy and working with school-aged populationsExcellent communication and collaboration skills when working with families, educators, and care teamsCurrent licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington, DCKnowledge of IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and experience working with IEPs is beneficialCPR certification and experience in home-based therapy settings is a plus
