Senior Execution TraderNew YorkAbout the CompanyAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading global Investment Management firm, which is currently seeking a Senior Execution Trader for their New York Office. The execution team in New York implements quantitative strategies across diverse asset classes, with a particular focus on derivatives, OTC instruments, and commodities. This role involves executing strategies and meticulously managing portfolios with scientific rigor.About the RoleFacilitating the execution of trades in accordance with the established models, ensuring timely and efficient implementation.Collaborating in the refinement and enhancement of algorithmic execution algorithms, refining their accuracy and effectiveness.Formulating comprehensive execution strategies aimed at minimizing slippage (the difference between the expected price of a trade and the price at which it is executed) and maximizing trading capacity.Actively gathering pertinent market intelligence, including relevant data and insights, to inform decision-making processes and optimize trading performance.Offering support in the calibration and fine-tuning of models, ensuring their alignment with current market conditions and objectives.Experience and QualificationsA bachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent) in finance or mathematics from a reputable university.Practical trading experience from either the buy or sell-side, either directly or in close collaboration with a trading desk at a high-quality institution.Previous experience on an OTC or Commodity desk would be especially valuable.
