CAPITAL ADVISORS GROUP, INC.DIRECTOR of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENTThe Director of Business Development at Capital Advisors Group, Inc. will play a crucial role in expanding the company's presence and enhancing revenue streams in the early-stage life science and technology sectors. The position, ideally suited to a candidate based in the San Francisco Bay area, will focus on forging new connections with key decision-makers such as CFOs, controllers, and venture capitalists, in addition to nurturing existing client relationships.Key Responsibilities:· Develop and implement strategic initiatives to identify and secure new business opportunities within the life science and technology sectors.· Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with CFOs, controllers, board members, and venture capital partners.· Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored cash investment management solutions that meet client needs.· Leverage knowledge of cash investment management and liquidity solutions to enhance client offerings.Qualifications:· 5 to 10 years of experience in consultative business development and relationship management.· Demonstrated success in accessing and growing new markets, particularly relevant to life sciences and technology.· Strong knowledge of or connections within the CFO and venture capital communities.· Familiarity with investment management, corporate treasury, and liquidity solutions.· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative on individual projects.Benefits:· Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.· Life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance.· 401(k) plan with employer matching.· Healthcare flexible spending account.· Education assistance opportunities.· Flexible working environment, enhancing work-life balance.Compensation:Base salary of $145,000 – $165,000, commensurate with experience.
