Quality Technician
Client: Food and Beverage Manufacturing Title: Lab Tech (Quality Technician – Day /Night) Duration: 03+ months Contract (Possibility of extension)Location: Bridgeton, NJ Shift: 6:00 am - 6:30 pm / 6:00 pm - 6:30 am Job Description:A Lab Tech/Quality Technician monitors and tests products and production processes to ensure quality and food safety compliance, accurately records results, troubleshoots issues, and supports continuous improvement—working independently or with a team in a fast-paced plant environment.Minimum Requirements:Perform routine/episodic analytical, chemical, microbiological, and allergen testing and accurately record/report results.Use and maintain basic lab instruments (pipets, pH meters, balances), including troubleshooting.Follow written procedures/QMS/GMP and keep clear, complete documentation.Interpret results and react to out-of-spec data (problem-solve, escalate, support mitigation).Strong computer skills (MS Office/basic systems) to enter/track lab and quality data.Associate or bachelor’s in a relevant science (or equivalent experience) + required training/certifications.Ability to work independently, communicate with operations, and handle a fast-paced/shift-based schedule.
