OFFERS AN EXCELLENT COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT PLAN INCLUDING:100% Employee Owned CompanyCompetitive salaryMedical, dental and vision insurance plans100% company paid short term and long-term disability coverage401(k) Plan with company matchCompany paid life insurance with optional additional coveragePaid holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO)Professional work environmentCDL- CLASS A DRIVERThe CDL CLASS A Driver is responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading forklifts to and from customer premises.Essential Job FunctionsConduct forklift loading on to Landoll Trailer in a safe, damage free mannerOperate transport of forklifts to assigned locations observing all traffic regulations and safe driving practicesConduct unloading from transport vehicle in a safe, damage free mannerComplete all documentation associated with forklift transport or serviceOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Must be over the age of 23Valid CDL Class A driver's licenseSafe driving record1 to 3 years driving a semi-truck and trailer1 to 3 years loading and unloading equipment including chaining and securing loadsThorough knowledge of Federal DOT laws, pre- and post-trip inspections.Thorough understanding Federal DOT Cargo Securement Laws.Preferred Qualifications:One (1) to three (3) years driving a flatbedGood organizational, time management and customer service skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentThe ability to work accurately and meet deadlinesPositive and friendly attitude toward customers and fellow team membersMust be able to follow directions both written and verballyWorking ConditionsDriver will be home every nightNo weekendsWorkday is usually over by 4:30pmPhysical requirements necessary include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, most of the time with infrequent opportunities to sit.Must be able to lift or exert force of up to 50 pounds with occasional need to lift or exert up to and sometimes over 100 poundsAbility to work in wet or humid conditions, as well as extreme cold or heatAbility to sit and drive for prolonged periods of timePhysical ability to load and unload vehicles on carrierOccasionally may be required to perform work in the evenings or on weekends
