Analyst Strategic Finance
Position Summary:As a key member of the BNI Finance team, the Analyst, Strategic Finance provides analysis and reporting to assist in managing the P&L, forecast, and performance metrics for BNI’s business and market leaders. The individual will understand drivers of the business, and provide leadership with accurate, timely, and relevant information. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of forecasting, cost planning, day-to-day finance support for leadership, and assist with broader Financial Planning and Analysis topics.Roles and Responsibilities:Ensuring financials are accurately projectedPreparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial presentationsPreparing revenue forecast / outlookAssisting in cost planning, cost reporting, and budgeting from start to finishCollaborating with a wide variety of business partners, including international market leadersCompleting ad hoc requests and perform other duties as needed in a timely mannerProviding support / transparency to market leaders on customer acquisition and retention (among other revenue drivers)Playing flexible role within Finance team as reporting needs and initiatives evolveAny additional duties needed to help demonstrate our core values, drive our vision, and fulfill our missionDemonstrated Competencies:ConfidentialityBusiness AcumenFinancial AcumenAccountability & IntegrityTechnical ProficiencyAnalytical ThinkingTeamworkEnthusiasm/Positive AttitudeCommunicationRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or 1-3 years of finance-related experience (experience in professional services environment a plus)Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; proficient in WordStrong problem solving / analytical skills and sound judgmentProactive / resourceful mindsetComfortable with ambiguity and able to effectively multi-task, prioritize, and perform within a fast-paced, demanding environmentCollaborative team-player with strong interpersonal skills, able to build positive, lasting relationships with teammates at all levels of the organizationAdds to positive and productive work environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsConscientious, paying attention to detail and accuracyAble to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitudeCommitted to improving and learning new skills and topics; receptive to feedbackAble to structure, plan, and manage projects effectivelyResponsive and maintains sense of urgencyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with BI applications (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) a plusPhysical Demands and Working ConditionsSedentary work.
