Palmview, TX Order: 30009767Order Type : TempJob Title: Rodbuster (Rebar Installer)Location: Various Job Sites Across the Rio Grande ValleySchedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | Occasional SaturdaysPay Rate: Based on ExperienceJob Overview:We are seeking experienced and dedicated Rodbusters to join our team for projects throughout the Rio Grande Valley, including McAllen, Edinburg, Weslaco, Harlingen, and Brownsville. Workers will report each day to our shop and travel together in company vehicles to the assigned job site. The ideal candidate will have experience working with rebar and reinforcing steel on commercial or civil construction projects.Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and rebar placement plansCut, bend, tie, and install steel bars and mesh using hand and power toolsPlace and secure rebar within formwork according to specificationsUse tools such as rod tying guns, rebar benders, and cuttersLoad and unload materials and tools from company vehiclesEnsure proper spacing and alignment of reinforcement steelFollow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environmentTravel as a crew from the shop to job sites daily in company trucksRequirements:Minimum 1 year of experience as a rodbuster or rebar installer preferredAbility to work in physically demanding conditions, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periodsMust be comfortable working outdoors in varying weatherAbility to read construction drawings and follow layout instructionsReliable and punctual with strong attention to detailMust be able to lift 50+ lbs and work well in a teamValid driver's license is a plus (not required to ride in company vehicles)Benefits:Steady full-time work with potential for overtimeDaily transportation provided to and from job sitesSkills:CONCRETE FINISHERCONCRETE LABORERCONCRETE - ROD BUSTERCONCRETE FORM BUILDER
