*Overview* We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers, providing product recommendations, and ensuring a positive customer experience in a cannabis dispensary setting. *Responsibilities* - Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries - Utilize retail math skills to process transactions accurately through cash registers - Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves and displaying products - Handle cash transactions and ensure cash handling procedures are followed diligently - Upsell products to increase sales revenue - Stay informed about cannabis products, strains, and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers *Experience* - Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred - Familiarity with cannabis products and strains is a plus - Proficiency in cash handling procedures - Bilingual skills are advantageous for interacting with a diverse customer base Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Shift: 10 hour shift 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Morning shift Night shift Ability to Commute: Portland, ME 04101 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Portland, ME 04101: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
