Working within a SAFe agile delivery framework, you will help scale secure, compliant runtime environments and optimize Grafana-based monitoring architectures for mission-critical infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Architecture & Migration: Develop technology architectures, design migration scenarios, and conduct infrastructure reviews focusing on scalability, availability, and operational stability.AWS & Platform Engineering: Design, configure, and advance development, test, and production environments in AWS using modern tools including Crossplane, ArgoCD, OpenTofu, and Flux.Observability & Monitoring: Analyze, optimize, and scale central monitoring, logging, and observability landscapes (Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir) as an integral part of the Kubernetes ecosystem.GitOps & Automation: Establish robust Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), GitOps, and deployment processes tailored for highly regulated KRITIS environments.Incident & Disaster Recovery: Perform root cause analyses for disruptions and design comprehensive disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity concepts.Collaboration: Promote synergy between development, operations, and information security teams while driving agile DevOps practices.Requirements & QualificationsMust-Have Skills (Mandatory):Cloud Infrastructure (AWS): Minimum 5 years of practical experience operating and developing AWS cloud infrastructures encompassing network, security, compute, and storage services.Grafana Dashboards: Minimum 5 years of practical experience designing Grafana dashboards and defining relevant operational metrics.Observability Tech Stack: Demonstrable practical application (min. 2 project references) in building and operating monitoring solutions utilizing at least two of the following: Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Minimum 5 years of experience automating cloud infrastructures using tools such as OpenTofu, Terraform, or Crossplane.Language: Native German speaker.Nice-to-Have Skills:Kubernetes & EKS: Experience operating and administering Kubernetes platforms, preferably Amazon EKS (min. 3 references).GitOps: Practical experience with GitOps approaches and tools like ArgoCD or Flux (min. 2 references).Security & Compliance: Background in implementing security, governance, and compliance requirements in regulated cloud environments (min. 3 references).CI/CD Pipelines: Practical CI/CD pipeline experience using GitLab CI/CD or comparable platforms (min. 2 references).If you are interested, or you know someone that could be, please get in touch soon and we can speak about the project :)
