Real World Evidence (RWE) Analyst - Remote

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Manager - Medical Affairs with a Biopharmaceutical company. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with our client located in Santa Monica, CA. This is Remote position.Summary: The RWE Senior Manager will contribute to the Real-World Evidence/Health Economic Outcomes Research (RWE/HEOR) Team to support the broader Evidence Generation Team. This role involves conducting timely and rigorous analysis of real-world data (RWD) to address critical research questions and contribute to cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the multiple myeloma disease landscape.Responsibilities:Support development of and provide critical appraisal of study protocols for research projects using RWD (e.g., medical claims, EHR, and observational registry databases)Lead or support development of statistical analysis plans in collaboration with internal stakeholdersConduct data reviews for primary/secondary data collected to ensure quality and reliabilityCommunicate study results with a broader internal cross-functional audienceAdapt performance metrics and dashboards for RWE projectsSupport preparation of reports and/or publication materials (e.g., abstracts, manuscripts)Support cross-functional initiatives to develop and refine internal procedures, workflows, and best practicesRequirements:Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Statistics or related discipline and 4+ years of experience working with a broad range of RWD, in academia, at a contract research organization, or in the biopharmaceutical industry ORBachelor's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Statistics or related discipline and 6+ years of experience working with a broad range of RWD, in academia, at a contract research organization, or in the biopharmaceutical industryExperience with oncology research in observational registry RWDFamiliarity with multiple myeloma disease landscapeIn-depth understanding of the principles of epidemiologic research methods and statistical conceptsDemonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis programming languages (e.g., SAS, R)Experience working with EHR databases (e.g., IQVIA, Flatiron)Desired skills:4+ years of oncology research experience highly preferredIn-depth knowledge of claims-based RWD (e.g., HealthVerity, Optum) and prior experience of using claims-based RWD in oncology researchPrior experience of using RWD for RWE in regulatory applications, post-marketing studies, and pharmacovigilanceExperience with external control arm (ECA) methodologiesExperience in the biopharmaceutical industryPay range: Up to $86.33 per HourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!ApTask Global Workforce (AGW)ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is a certified Minority and Veteran workforce solutions company.
