Senior Java DeveloperAs a Senior Java Developer for a Randstad client in Wilmington, DE, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level, cloud-native solutions within the passenger rail transportation sector. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to analyze business requirements and architect IT solutions, as well as developing and implementing high-performance applications using Java and AWS technologies. You will also ensure ongoing system maintenance, problem resolution, and testing support while leveraging Test Driven Development methodologies.ResponsibilitiesAnalysis and Design Support:Engage in client discussions to support the technical analysis of business requirements and priorities.Conduct analysis, design, documentation, and implementation for complex IT projects related to passenger rail transportation.Architect and design IT solutions to meet functional and technical requirements.Prepare and deliver various technical documents, including sizing, external design, and detailed design documents.Application Development:Design, develop, test, and implement cloud-native, enterprise-level services with a focus on high availability and performance.Integrate and develop Kafka streams for real-time data processing using Amazon MSK.Maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.Production and Testing Support:Provide ongoing support, including problem analysis and resolution.Utilize Test Driven Development methodologies to create use-case scenarios and unit test cases.
