AUTOMOTIVE SHOP FOREMAN

Description of the role Come join our team at Century West BMW as an Automotive Shop Foreman. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for BMW vehicles and a strong technical background. Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal technician productivity. Diagnose complex vehicle issues, assist technicians, and provide solutions. Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure BMW standards are met. Stay updated on BMW diagnostic tools, software, and repair procedures. Team Supervision & Training: Mentor and train technicians, focusing on skill development and technical expertise. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies. Customer Service: Communicate effectively with service advisors to address customer concerns. Provide accurate repair estimates and time frames. Resolve escalated customer complaints professionally and efficiently. Shop Operations & Efficiency: Monitor shop equipment and tools, ensuring maintenance and calibration. Manage workflow to reduce vehicle downtime and optimize shop efficiency. Assist in scheduling and allocating work based on technician skill sets. Administrative Duties: Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately. Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
