Position: Staff Field Applications Engineer Location: San Jose, CA Full-Time Role/Direct-HireJob Description:We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Field Application Engineer to support customers with advanced power electronics solutions. The role involves working closely with sales and engineering teams to deliver optimized switching power supply designs and provide technical expertise.Key Responsibilities:Support power supply design using company productsProvide technical guidance and troubleshoot customer issuesConduct design reviews (schematics, PCB layout, magnetics, performance)Assist in component selection for optimal performanceSupport sales activities, customer visits, and technical trainingParticipate in trade shows and seminarsRequirements:BSEE/MSEE with 4-7 years of relevant experienceHands-on experience in power electronics and switching power supply designKnowledge of topologies (Buck, Boost, Flyback, etc.)Experience with tools like MATLAB, LTspice, C++, and ExcelStrong analytical, lab testing, and communication skillsWillingness to travel (~10%)Preferred:Embedded firmware development experience (C/C++) for power applicationsHow to Apply: Submit your resume to Clinton.s@iserveworld.com
