HVAC Service TechnicianPay: $23$35 per hour + commission and bonus opportunitiesPosition OverviewThe HVAC Service Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality service by diagnosing issues efficiently, completing repairs accurately, and performing preventative maintenance to maximize system performance.The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role also involves collaboration with team members to resolve complex issues and uphold the companys standards for service excellence, safety, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, service, and repair residential and/or commercial HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipmentPerform routine maintenance, inspections, and system performance checksRespond promptly and professionally to service calls and customer concernsCommunicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions, repairs, and maintenance recommendationsCollaborate with fellow technicians and team members to troubleshoot complex issuesMaintain accurate documentation of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activitiesFollow all safety procedures and industry regulationsMinimum QualificationsValid HVAC Technician certification or licenseMinimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC experienceEPA certification for refrigerant handlingExperience servicing, repairing, and installing HVAC systemsValid drivers license with a clean 3-year driving recordStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilitiesSkills & CompetenciesAdvanced technical knowledge of HVAC systems and componentsStrong problem-solving and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanshipDependable, professional, and safety-focusedSign-On Bonus for Technicians & Senior Technicians: $5,000Payment StructureThe sign-on bonus will be paid in the following installments, subject to applicable taxes and processed through payroll:$1,500 after 90 days of continuous employment$1,500 after 6 months of continuous employment$2,000 after 12 months of continuous employmentRetention Requirement & Repayment ObligationThis sign-on bonus is contingent upon the employee remaining actively employed for a minimum of two (2) years from the date of hire.If the employee voluntarily resigns or is terminated for cause before completing 24 months of employment, repayment of a prorated portion of the sign-on bonus is required as follows:Separation before 12 months: 100% of bonus paid must be repaidSeparation between 1218 months: 50% of bonus paid must be repaidSeparation between 1824 months: 25% of bonus paid must be repaidAfter 24 months: No repayment requiredRepayment must be made within 30 days of separation.
