We live that statement every single day. We are looking for a Material Handler to help support that mission.JOB SUMMARYThis warehouse position is focused on our Generator Manufacturing Division. Responsible for the efficient flow of materials within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Their duties include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, often using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. They also maintain inventory records, ensure proper storage, and may assist in packaging and shipping.RESPONSIBILITIESConfirming the accuracy of quantity and examining the quality of incoming deliveriesScrutinizing the stock available in the warehouseDocumenting orders and storing the merchandise systematicallyCreating labels for different materials and compartmentalizing the goods accordinglyStoring parts in assigned locations and maintaining production sheetsLocating the correct product during the build processMaintaining technical documentation for returnsExamining work orders to identify correct materials or containersLoading or unloading materials onto or from containers, racks or traysAssembling cartons or crates to store materials or productsKeeping an updated account of stock and inventoryConducting regular maintenance of equipment to keep it in the best conditionCommunicating purchasing requirements and maintaining data on the availability of productsCollaborating with internal departments to monitor and resolve delivery issuesMoving and discarding materials according to company policies and regional lawsAssist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer needs are metAny other duties as assigned by managementBenefitsCompetitive PayMedical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance401k with company matchPaid Time OffTraining & Professional DevelopmentPositive and productive work environmentQualificationsQUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least one-year related experience requiredForklift experienceShipping and receivingExcellent computer skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWORK CONDITIONSPhysical Demands/Work Environment:This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs.
