What you can expect-****DAY SHIFT POSITION****Responsible for supporting the daily production activities by installing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing environment. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of safety, quality, and equipment reliability.Our Expectations:Install, diagnose and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical components of industrial machinery and equipment.Changing bearings, sheaves, sprockets, belts.Cutting and weldingRoller chain repairTest fusesTest for voltageChanging cam followersDrilling out of boltsPM inspection through proper locking out of equipment and performing routine mechanical inspections of conveyors, machines, haulagesChasing and or tapping holesChanging hardwareBasic Hydraulic knowledgeBasic knowledge of Pneumatic cylinders and controlWork at heights safelyRequired Skills, Abilities, and Education:Understand basic electrical principals with willingness to continue learning under plant direction and or outside trainingHigh School Diploma or GEDMechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)Maintenance: 1 year (Required)Strong work ethics related to attendance and performance of duties with minimal supervisionAbility to communicate effectively with others, including employees, vendors, and contractorsAbility to work in a fast paced manufacturing environmentAbility to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidaysWe offer to total compensation package to include:Competitive PayMedical, Dental, and VisionCompany paid Basic Life and Short Term Disability401kPaid Time OffUS Brick recognizes the value of diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
