As a key member of our team, you'll perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on various equipment and vehicles ensuring they run safely and efficiently.Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on construction equipmentDiesel and gas engine diagnostics and repairs with computer diagnosticsDocument repairs and maintenanceOrder parts when neededComplete inspections, logs and fuel reportsQualificationsAbility to read and understand blueprints and schematics of electrical and hydraulicsValid drivers license with clean driving record. CDL A or B Preferred but not required.Make practical decisions on repairing or replacing componentsKnowledge of DOT regulationsTechnical degree or 1-3 years' experience or extensive mechanical abilityKnowledge of job-specific safety practicesPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 occasionallyPhysically able to stand, sit, walk, and bend on hard surfaces for long periodsManeuver on or around equipmentA few extra perks:Steady, year-round employmentOpportunities for growth and professional developmentOutstanding employee cultureSpecial Requirements: Must be able to pass controlled substance tests prior to, and at all times, during employment.Hughes General Contractors, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer.
