Join our team and share our passion!Software & Applications Engineer (m/w/d) You will work in a small, agile and multi-site software development team on the latest generation of highly distributed SCADA systemsYou and your team are responsible for the end-to-end development of the required functionsYou will develop in close collaboration with other disciplines such as hardware and firmware and support the team in designing the software componentsDeveloping interfaces to other operational technology or cloud networksPreparation of data and presentation in meaningful graphicsImplementing cross-location applications to increase the transparency of our processesTo meet our customer requirements for reliability and integrity, you will test and integrate your code on our development platform using our CI environmentYou support error analysis and troubleshootingCreating software modules that have a high degree of reusabilityEnsuring the quality of work for sustainable product developmentYour profileEnthusiasm for innovation and new technologiesStructured, independent and solution-oriented way of workingStrong communication and teamwork skillsCompleted studies in computer science/electrical engineering/communications engineering/physics or similarExperience in the use of WinCC OA (ideally Siemens certified engineer)Advanced knowledge of embedded software development with C/C++Knowledge of Python and configuration management systems (e.g. Git)Experience in agile SW development with scrum desirableKnowledge of sequential databases (e.g. PostgreSQL and InfluxDB)Knowledge of PLC automation technology is not mandatory but welcome (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell - Modbus / Profibus)Very good knowledge of German and EnglishOur offerWorking hours: You can expect a 38-hour week with us.
