Energy Management Systems (EMS) Installer/Electrician - Madison, TN

Job Description Description:Stones River Electric is looking for candidates for our EMS and Special Projects Team! We are a growing company that wants electricians to grow with us!The role of an Energy Management Systems (EMS) Installer/Electrician combines electrical expertise with IT skills to install sensors, controllers, and wiring, troubleshoot software/hardware, and ensure compliance with energy codes and safety regulations.Requirements: Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Configuration: Installing control panels, field controllers, sensors, actuators, and wiring for Building Automation Systems (BAS).Programming & Optimization: Setting up application programming, developing graphic interfaces, and optimizing HVAC and lighting schedules.Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnosing and repairing electrical, pneumatic, and electronic control systems.System Integration: Integrating HVAC, lighting, and power monitoring systems.Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and local regulations.Required Skills and Qualifications:Lead Electrician Requirements:· Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training in electrical systems or HVAC.· Certification: Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification in energy management.· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical schematics, low-voltage control systems & low voltage termination CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, and HVAC systems.· IT Skills: Familiarity with IP networking and software-based control systems.· Tools: Proficient in using testing devices (voltmeters, ammeters) and hand tools· Minimum of 5 years' experience in the electrical field· Knowledgeable in National Electrical Codes (N.E.C. code book theory)· Knowledgeable of Energy Management Systems· Knowledge of lighting controls· Knowledge of conduit bending· Knowledge of blueprint/online diagrams· Must have computer/iPad operation skills (Excel and Word)· Must be able to travel (1-2 weeks at a time)· Valid Driver's License with a clean record· Must be drug free - we are a drug free workplace.Helper Electricians:· Minimum of 2-year experience in electrical field· Knowledge of conduit bending a plus· Must be able to travel· Valid Driver's License with a clean record· Must be drug free - we are a drug free workplaceTypical Work EnvironmentWorking in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.Often involves working on ladders, in crawl spaces, or in mechanical rooms.Requires knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to document workWe provide:Company VehicleCareer advancement opportunitiesIn-house trainingA career with a rapidly growing company in a rapidly growing marketStandard EquipmentCompensation:Flexible SchedulesHourly to start with opportunities for growth90 Day ReviewMedical, dental & visionPaid HolidaysVacation401K MatchSign-on/Referral Bonus after 90 DaysTLC Investments LLC DBA Stones River Electric is an equal opportunity employer.Unsolicited submissions or outreach from third-party agencies or recruiters will not be considered.
