User Experience Designer

The UX/UI Designer will deliver intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent interfaces with a strong emphasis on usability for both public users and a non-technical internal content manager.Responsibilities:Develop wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designsCreate simple and intuitive navigation for department-based structure Design mobile-first and responsive layouts (majority mobile users) Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (color contrast, typography, interaction)Optimize design for ease of content updates by a single CMS user Incorporate County branding while allowing modernizationRequired/Preferred Skills: 5+ years of UX/UI design experienceExperience designing accessible, government or public-sector websites preferredStrong knowledge of WCAG-compliant design practicesExpertise in tools like Figma, Adobe XD
