Java Developer (Kafka) The Java Developer (Kafka) is responsible for developing and maintaining streaming-based microservices and data integration solutions. This role focuses on building reliable ingestion services, ensuring efficient message processing, and supporting scalable event-driven architectures.Responsibilities Develop and maintain microservices using JavaImplement and support event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar technologiesConfigure and manage message producers and consumersEnsure reliable data ingestion and event processingDeploy and maintain containerized applicationsSupport CI/CD pipelines for service deploymentOptimize streaming performance and processing latencyIntegrate services with cloud-based data platformsCollaborate with DevOps and Data Engineering teamsEnsure secure communication and configuration managementRequirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldExperience in backend development using JavaKnowledge of event-driven and streaming architecturesExperience working with Kafka or similar messaging systemsExperience with microservices architectureFamiliarity with Docker and containerized deploymentsUnderstanding of CI/CD practicesExperience integrating services with cloud environmentsNice to Have Experience with Spring BootKnowledge of Jenkins or similar CI/CD toolsExperience with AWS or other cloud providersFamiliarity with networking and security conceptsExperience optimizing streaming performanceSoft Skills Technical problem-solving skillsCollaborative mindsetResults-oriented approachStrong communication skills
