Position Type:Secretarial/ClericalDate Posted:4/13/2026Location:Central OfficeClosing Date:Until FilledAdministrative Assistant for Teaching and LearningApplication Procedure:Apply OnlineMinimum Qualifications:--High School Diploma--Previous experience in a office environment--Previous experience with customer service--Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills, including typingDuties:Assists the Director of Teaching and Learning with grant and budget preparation, monitoring, and reviewProcesses and distributes all confidential state testing materialsGeneral office management, including clerical assignmentsFacilitates the Director of Teaching and Learning's readiness for meetings (e.g. preparation of speeches, notes and reviews of documents/correspondence, etc.)Set up and cleanup for meetingsAssists with accreditation preparation- Assists with accreditation preparationCoordinates professional learning events by registering staff, securing hotel accommodations, and manages redelivery plansProcesses payments for professional learning, distributes system credit cards, and reconciles monthly statements.Facilitates the textbook adoption process by ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines.Assist with coordinating committee reviews, manages vendor communications, and maintains accurate records and yearly updates throughout the adoption cycle.Performs other duties as assignedSalary and Benefits:--230 day, full-time employment on the BCSS Class III Clerical Salary ScaleNOTE: At least two Professional references are required for those applicants that have not previously worked with Butts County Schools.
