Brief DescriptionGlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group (“GlassRatner”) provides a full variety of specialty financial services and solutions for lenders, law firms, private equity sponsors and various companies. Our service offering includes restructuring and turnaround management, forensic accounting, litigation support, and expert testimony; project due diligence and transaction support; executive search and interim management; and real estate services that includes our national receivership platform.We are currently seeking a full-time Regional Manager to work in our Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate will have experience managing distressed multifamily assets and properties. Experience with receivership is a strong plus, though not a requirement. We take pride in managing to boost profitability and property value, supported by deep market knowledge and a proven track record of success.Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Partner with the proposed receiver (internal GlassRatner representative) to evaluate potential issues at distressed properties, including discreet site visits to document deferred maintenance and life-safety concerns. Collaborate with the court-appointed receiver to assume operational control of the property and associated bank accounts; verify insurance coverage (GL/Property/Umbrella) and engage third-party property management services. Oversee a portfolio of distressed multifamily assets during receivership, focusing on resolving deferred maintenance and life-safety issues, stabilizing operations, and enhancing asset value in preparation for sale. Prepare comprehensive lender reports following property takeover, including vacant unit condition assessments, unit-turn pricing, exterior property condition evaluations, and summaries of key operational challenges such as tenant delinquency, bad debt, and outstanding payables. Work closely with third-party property management teams to improve occupancy, tenant retention, rental income, and overall operational efficiency. Identify, scope, and prioritize capital improvement projects to protect asset value and enhance resident satisfaction. Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate property conditions, verify compliance, and assess third-party management performance. Serve as a primary point of contact for the lender and lender’s counsel, providing ongoing updates, guidance, and documentation related to property status. Develop and execute exit strategies for each asset, typically involving repositioning the property for a successful sale.Education, Experience, And Skills Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business administration, or a related discipline. 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate investment, asset management, or property management. Prior experience in asset management or a comparable role within the multifamily or commercial real estate sector. Strong understanding of multifamily operations, market dynamics, leasing practices, and value-add strategies. Broad knowledge of commercial real estate trends, lease structures, property management principles, and applicable legal considerations. Proficiency in analyzing financial and operational data, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations. Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate third-party property management teams toward performance objectives. Familiarity with receivership processes, court requirements, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with lenders, investors, legal counsel, property managers, tenants, and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Acrobat.
