In joining Prometheus, you will become a part of the largest global provider of comprehensive enterprise asset management (EAM) software solutions that support the management life cycle for equipment maintenance and operations.Internship SummaryIn this role, you'll work alongside our engineering teams designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications using .NET and React technologies. You’ll gain hands-on experience through working on some of our products and have a designated mentor to guide you through your time with Prometheus Group.What You'll Do Support the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, etc.) and React for front-end development.Collaborate with product managers, architects, UX designers, and other stakeholders to help define and implement software functionality.Apply Test-First approaches — including Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development — alongside standard unit testing.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following team best practices and coding standards.Troubleshoot and debug issues, and help implement fixes and enhancements.Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback, to build strong code-quality habits.The Skills and Experience We NeedCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field (Bachelor's), or equivalent hands-on experience.Exposure to or coursework in the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET Core) and React, with an understanding of core concepts.Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles.Some exposure to front-end technologies such as React, Redux, or Angular.Basic familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and ORM tools like Entity Framework is a plus.Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.Good communication and collaboration skills.Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.What This Internship Offers• Hands-on experience on a real product used by customers.• A dedicated leader for day-to-day guidance and support.• A structured onboarding experience and focused project work from day one.• A final project opportunity to showcase your skills, presented to Development leadership.• Potential path to full-time employment upon completion of schooling, based on performance.Prometheus Group is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
