This is an on site position.JOB TITLE: Multi-Family Collections SpecialistJOB NUMBER FLSA Status : ExemptDEPARTMENT DIVISION: Vesta Realty LLCGROUP: Residential Property ManagementREPORTS TO: Director of Quality ControlSummaryJOB SUMMARY, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, JOB REQUIREMENTSThis position requires a diligent individual capable of managing a portfolio of accounts and ensuring compliance with collection standards while maintaining professionalism and customer service excellence.Duties And Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring Vesta receives all necessary payments owed on accounts. This includes monitoring all accounts within their assigned portfolio and contacting leaseholders per Vesta’s Collection’s Standards. Additional duties include reporting their assigned portfolio’s collection statistics daily, maintaining records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers and records of any payments collected from the customer, and helping site teams resolve any issues and complaints concerning billing. Within their assigned portfolio, walking potential units for skips, posting 5-day notices, and completing door knocks on all delinquent accounts per Vesta’s Collection Standard. Compiling and maintaining detailed files in preparation for evictions. Additional duties related to collections as assigned by Supervisor. Educational Requirements Previous experience in collections or related field preferred. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with eviction processes and regulations is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education/training is a bonus. Physical Requirements Ability to climb stairs, walk, bend, grasp, and lift up to 25 lbs. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Bonuses available
